Kruger Park and Mpumalanga

Mpumulanga with its breathtaking  viewpoints, spectacular waterfalls and with the Kruger National Park south Africas most profilic wildlife reserve bordering it is one of South Africa most popular destinations.

 Day 1 -
You need to be up at 5am so that you can leave by 6 am for the drive to Phalaborwa. You arrive at about 12.00 pm at a beautiful lodge called Sefapane your home for the next few days a kilometer from the Kruger Park where you have a few estate homes overlooking a dam. Then there is a Safari boat cruise that leaves at about 2.30pm.This is a chance to see some elephants, Hippos and possibly lions, giraffes in there natural environment. .

Day 2 -
 A full day Panorama Tour where you see places like Pilgrims Rest, one of the original gold rush towns from the 1800s as well as beautiful panoramic viewpoints with evocative names  like G-ds Window, Three Rondavels and Bourke Luck Potholes,etc as well as some of the stunning waterfalls in the area. You come back at about 4pm in time to get ready for Shabbos. Shabbos dinner and davening at Sefapane.

Day 3 -
 You can have a late schlof and a day to recharge your batteries.Take a walk around,sleep late or just read  a book or some Torah study There will be a shabbos lunch, shalos seudos, etc  before tonight after Havdalah a relaxing dinner at Sefapane.

Day 4 -
 Today you leave at 5.30 am into the Kruger Park, one of the worlds largest game reserves where your quest for the big animals starts. We meet up for breakfast somewhere in the park and then you continue till about 13h00.You come back to Sefapane for lunch before getting ready for the afternoon/night game drive at one of the small game reserves in Phalaborwa. During your drive you will have a break for supper and have a bush BBQ before driving back and arriving at about 10pm. Overnight at Sefapane.

Day 5 -
Another full day in Kruger before having lunch in the park and then in the late afternoon back to the lodge.

Day 6 -
You leave in the morning for Exeter Lodge in the Sabi Sand  Game Reserve the most prestigious game park in South Africa.It is renowned for having the best  big Five game viewing in South Africa, if not the world especially leopards and lions. It shares an unrestricted fence with the Kruger  Park so the animals roam freely just as they are supposed to. You arrive  by lunchtime so you can check in and relax and then go on an afternoon/ evening game drive. You have your own game ranger and there is a huge possibility you will see the Big Five.

Day 7 -
Today you have a last game drive before coming back for breakfast. In mid morning you leave for a road transfer back to Johannesburg.You go via the Kruger park for your last chance to see animals in the wild. You spend lunch in the park before leaving for a beautiful Drive back to Jhb.Arrive in the evening and spend the evening back at Riverbend Country House where you have a nice dinner before retiring for the night.

Day 8 -
This morning you have a transfer to the airport for your flight back to Israel which leaves at 11h15 am.
