Johannesburg and Surrounds:
Johannesburg is served by O.R. Tambo International Airport which is the largest and busiest in Africa.

Also within an hour is Hartebeespoort Dam, a weekend getaway where Johannesburgers own homes on the waters edge and enjoy the many water sports.Other recreational offerings available in the area are Glen Afric and the Elephant Sanctuary where you can walk among the elephants, canoeing down the Crocodile river, visits to Dewildt Cheetah Sanctuary – a haven to getting endangered animals back to there numbers, Cable car rides where you can enjoy the views over the dam and see the hang gliders go past you.
