Victoria Falls :

Vic Falls is one of the most specatular natural wonders in the world.

The locals call it “Mosi-oa-Tunya” – the smoke that thunders. It is 1708 meters wide, making it the largest curtain of water in the world.

Founded by David Livingstone in the 1860s, it remains preserved in its natural state. The falls and its surrounding area have been declared a national Park and a World Heritage Site.

Vic Falls boasts a spectacular array of accommodation from backpackers to 5 star hotels, some of which have been there close on a hundred years.

The Falls also set the scene for a variety of activities including White Water rafting, elephant back safaris, walking with elephants or a more sedate afternoon cruise on the mighty Zambezi River.
